I got scammed by rental car company while traveling in Europe. I got charged 900 USD for a scratch to the underside of the front bumper that I didn't create. Apparently, I'm covered by CC, but does using CC rental car insurance claim affect credit score or somehow show up in CarFax?

I wouldn't worry about it.
