Good will letter success to chase!

Hello, first I want to thank all for such great advise I have gotten through the forums. I sent letter to EO to chase on Dec 9, and received a reply back on Dec 14, stating that they were unable to remove the account but believed that my account needs updating and requested to all credit agencies to remove all adverse before 2015, to please allow 30 days to update credit. I was so supper excited when I heard this, a happy tear. A little background I had a chase auto loan with 14 late payments from almost 5 years ago. Experian was the first to remove all late from the account and a credit score increase of 56 points!. Unfortunately, Equafax did not remove all my lates only 4 late payments and added a time line of another 5 years to my account, don't understand what was that for, account has been closed 5 years ago. Getting through them is a waste and they won't seem to help. I am hoping now that transunion will remove all lates like Experian, but there is no update yet. Im Excited and at the same time but don't want to get my hopesif something doesnt go they way I would like.

Any suggestions as to how long Trans will take to update? What will be the likelyhood they dont update at all? or maybe im just being impatient.

My plans are to buy a home in the next 2 to 3 months, and this is the only account that is holding down my score to what i need it to be.

Congratulations. From my understanding, Chase is very difficult to get GW adjustments from, so this is great news. I may suggest having the mods move this thread to the rebuilding forum, though, as more members would find value in it there.

Thank you, I just googled CEO from chase. I was responded back from the EO.

Congrats on the removal!! Im in the same boat. Any way to can PM the contact. I just have one 30 day late but i have since paid off the auto loan.
