Hey all, so I monitor my credit scores (FAKO or otherwise) pretty closely. I last updated CreditKarma on 10/9 and have a TransUnion VS 3.0 of 776; today when I logged into WalletHub, my TransUnion VS 3.0 was 774.

Normally this means that one card reported a slightly different balance since the last update, but upon combing through each report, they are exactly identical:

Same balance reported for each account.

No new or dropped-off accounts.

Same number of inquiries.

No collections, public records, or other derogs.

How could this be? I've never seen the same scoring model produce different results without different information. Something is amiss!

So always keep in mind that though these are great tools to observe your credit, they should not be taken too seriously. Find a real Fico score then compare when necessary..

Good Luck!

Something changed that you aren't aware of. Possibly a time threshold. Inquiry no longer counting, accounts aging to 1 or 2 years, etc. It would be a little more concerning if you pulled them at the same time and had different scores. At that point, they're getting 2 different sets of information.

BES is right above. If the scoring model (VS 3.0) and bureau data (TU) are the same, the only other element that matters is the time at which the data was used to generate a score.
