Will Account Mailing Address Change Affect Score?

My billing address for all my credit cards is a mail scanning service that is closing in a couple weeks and so I need to transfer to a new mailing address. Will changing the billing address on all my card accounts (not my residential) affect my score?

Nope. Personal info name, address, employers, ect wont do anything to your scores.

If you were changing your residential address, my answer would be no.

But I have no experience with, or knowledge of, mail scanning service addresses, and what effect, if any, they might have.

I believe this is a resounding NO! The only time this could come into play is when apping for credit since typically you are asked how long you lived at an address, but then again it's just a mailing address and you haven't moved. Should be no impact.

I would be curious to know if any issuers see those who have recently moved as more of a credit risk than those who have lived in one place for > 2 years or use that datapoint for anything other than identity verification

FICO scores do not care about your residential address.

Creditors however may use other sources of information in addtion to your address, for example some people have reported seeing "Lack of mortgage tradeline" as a denial reasons with creditors.

OP says his residential address is not changing. So, if he's lived at the same address for years, then he shouldn't have a problem when apping for credit if the issue is how many years have you lived at the address. Now, if he does not have a mortgage, that's a different issue.
