Small TU8 Drop I Can't Figure Out

I received a myFICO alert that my TU8 score dropped 1pt on 2/21 from 669 to 668 (I know it's a trivial change and is inconsequential, but my curiosity and wanting to understand FICO score moevement has got me trying to figure this out), and I'm strugglign to come up with a likely reason for the change. My TU8 score had been at 668 since my oldest card hit one year old in Nov. (was no TU HP on that card). After that I opened an Amex on 1/21 that included a TU HP. Got alerts for EX and TU 1/22 but no TU change after the HP or on my monthly 3B later. On 2/5 another CC account that did include a TU HP hit one year old and gained a point to 669 (assuming from the HP aging to a year). On 2/21 I get the 1pt drop but I have no idea what it's from. It was a few days after my first Amex statement closed but I've looked at all reports via annualcredit report since the point decrease and it's not reporting yet. Could it be just a month long delay between the alert and score being updated? It's so trivial but I'm stumped.

Edit: utilization change on my AZEO card was small enough it shouldn't figure in...went from 1.6% to 1.8%)

You may have seen " Its a snapshot of your scores" when you go to look or reported. Your scores change multiple times a day. No telling what it could be. Please dont rack your brain over 1 pt.

It was more for the entertainment purposes of trying to figure out a pointless mystery.

I've seen similar happen to me exactly one month after a hard inquiry. I get no immediate reduction in score when an inquiry posts. Then a month later a score drop. Happens to my DH, too. Don't know if the inq is the true reason but it's happened more than once for me so that's become something I expect to happen to me now.

@Zoostation1 Try figure out why with no lates is very good and Util at 6% is exceptional:

I tend to think it's a delay in the HP score drop notification. Just got an alert yesterday it jumped up 8pts so I think I may have hit another milestone that EQ and EX already accounted for 3-4wks ago.

I have no clue.......though in my case I'm convinced I hit some sort of milestone this month. Just got my 3B reports today and everything is up from last month except my TU9 (I'm also convinced all my TU changes are showing up several weeks after EX and EQ). 10T went up really nicely by 33EQ 26TU 24EX!

You may have crossed a threshold gor utilization with the new Amex as well.. thats a rough one, however, glad to see they're all headed in the correct direction 😀

Amex account isn't reporting yet, only the HP from the app. My monthly 3B from yesterday doesn't show it nor do my annualcreditreport ones either. I'll just play the waiting game will it reports.

@FireMedic1Unrelated but in the year I've been coming to these forums I've been paying attention to the scores in your signature since you're quite a bit further along than I am. It's nice to see that 740 FICO8 is possible before a BK7 falls off. Looks like for me FICO8 scores might be the last of them to reach 700.

@Zoostation1 Theres are plateaus here and there. You go up and nothing. Come on man. Then the next bump. Like scorecard changes. Before the home and SUV. I did touch 751 on EX? Thats probably my peak below now till 2025 when it dies out. Been waiting for 3 months for one lousy point:
