Confirmed this time for sure. ...this age old question; account aging to 1 year?

Anyone know for sure the affect of newest account aging to 1 year yet? If not I will have it answered soon enough with testing. But I'd like to know sooner. UPDATE: My girlfriend has one new account 11.5 months old. Stay tuned. I will post changes after it ages 1 year in 3 weeks.

Last December 1, 2 CC's had their first birthday.

EQ: +13 (was in mid 650's)
TU: +9 (was in high 600's)
EX: +9 (was in high 600's)

Then, on the actual date (not just the first of the month) that I had applied, I got two more points as each inq hit exactly one year old.

Great news everyone. My girlfriend's CR has an account 11.5 months old, 1% UTL. Keeping all the same we're going to be watching it very closely over the next 30-45 days. An answer finally. There is no other activity on her report. A very isolated test. Perfect! Stay tuned.

Depending on where she's starting from, I say 6-8 points on August 1 and another 2-3 points on the actual date that the inq hit.

If she's in the 700's with otherwise stable reports, those numbers could easily be doubled, if not more. Tripled or quadrupled if she's up there with you!

Her CR mirrors mine somewhat. I've been educating her for the past few years. She gets hit -10 per inq same as me. Should be a good test.

She's so funny. She says to me tonight. It's not really that hard, just pay your bills on time and there ya go. lol. She doesn't realize how work it took me to lean the information to help her. She uses the same system I use to pay and track bills. We even have the same due dates on everything and mostly the same accounts.

I also noticed she is not red flagged for new accounts. Not sure what that means. Accounts are younger than 12 months. We'll find out.

Nope- only if your avg age or longest opened age increases.

Inq is now 1 year old. Accounts turns 1 year in 2 more weeks. Waiting for score update reflecting inq now.

She gained +10 points for inq turning 1 year old. All thats left is the account aging 1 year old now.
