Hmm...that never happened with me. Any changes on your EQ report lately? myFICO has a tendency to lag behind as I understand but the FICO will eventually be the same whether obtained here or on EQ.

Checked my FICO scores on myFICO and then checked my FICO score on Equifax's Score Watch (they specifically call it a _FICO_ score) on the same day within minutes.

myFICO lists Equifax FICO as 648 while Equifax itself lists its FICO as 620.

Anybody know which one is accurate? Could Equifax's own FICO score on ScoreWatch lag behind the score I get on myFICO?

thx!

ScoreWatch is not in "real time" and therefore you are not seeing your "current score" just the last "snapshot" it took when it had a score alert/change.

I have found that scorewatch can take 1 to 3 days for changes in my report to generate an updated score.

If you buy a ScorePower, you will see the same as MyFICO, because ScorePower is a "real time" score, like MyFICO.

Whichever score came from a direct score pull, as opposed to from a ScoreWatch alert (whether via Equifax or myFICO), use that direct score as your new target score for SW.

I * think * this was the higher score you mentioned, but I got a little cross-eyed there!

Just in case you're interested: Equifax ScoreWatch updated today to match MyFICO (648). That's a good thing :0)
