OP, I would ignore your EX score and focus on getting TU and EQ as high as possible before app time. When you've hit your goal, it wouldn't matter what EX is because your mid-score would be one of the two.

Well if they emailed you paperwork for it you received more follow-up on the Heloc than anybody else I have heard of. Getting any info from them was like pulling teeth so I gave up.

ETA

They do offer the ability to check a loan application status online for the Heloc. Nothing ever showed up there for me after I accepted their preapproval.

Message Edited by hobojon on 08-01-2009 09:49 PM

My preapproval for VISA got lost. I had to call in and speak to a LO and have a manual phone app run to get it. Later the preapproval Visa popped up and showed online that I had 2 Visas, which I didn't really.

Fortunately, "Nick" used my membership EQ pull CR for making his decision to approve my Visa for same CL as the preapproval offer and best APR rate.

Alliant has the worst online services overall, except that I LOVE the eDeposit and eDepositPlus.
