I know it isn't the real score but my Exp score increased from 521 on 4/3, to 540 on 4/30 to 603 today. Do you think I will see my Fico score increase if my FAKO score increased, this is exciting to me. i have NEVER seen a rise, only a decline............yeah for me.

it was the opposite for me. When I pulled my FACO's in early march they were at least a 50 point difference in my favor. TC gave me a score for TU at 589, when I pulled it from FICO it was 640

But sometimes the FAKOs go up 20 points and FICO goes up 6 points. Generally if your FAKOs jump a huge amount your FICO should go up a little too. But they will not go up the same amount. FAKOs can jump 50 points and FICO can jump 10 points. But either way a big score increase is felt along all score models.

I have the score power and on 6/6 it said Equifax 676 then on 6/7 I purchased my report and Eqifax now said 654??!!?? All my revolving debt is long paid off, there were no new inquiries, I have not been searching for new credit, all bills paid on time...absolutely nothing negative. What could constitute a 22 point drop in one day?? Thx

Tuscani, first of all the 101 was excellent reading. I really appreciate you posying that. However no where in there could I see anything that gave any kind of an explanation of how or why my Eq. could fall 22 points over night with as I explained no new inquiries, no usage of revolving, etc.I got a score power alert saying 676 and then the next day I purchase my report and it's 656?? There has to be some sort of explanation?? Thx

Timothy, thanks for the response. No none of the accounts are in an inactive status. All of my revolving was paid off in April/May of this year so only a month or 2 ago. It just boggles my mind how my score can drop 22 points in just one day with nothing negative reported. I mean it could very well go up 22 points by Mon. but it's just wierd.

Rob, thanks for the reply. I'm not sure I fully understand what you are saying. What do you mean by a change to the scorecard I was in??

I have searched and searched as for any logical explanation. There are absolutely no new inquiries, that I see showing, no derogatory info, etc. There is nothing to explain a 22 point drop in one day, especially when I have worked hard to pay off all my debt last month and have not had any lates since Nov. of last month. I've done absolutely everything the right way and all of the sudden my score goes backward!! It's just frustrating as I'm working hard for a new mortgage and have been getting closer and closer to breaking 700! Thanks
