i just checked my scores after paying $1,200 down and now i am at 25% util.

tu - 667

eq - 661

ex - 678

my goal was 660-680 by end of summer. my new goal is 680-700 by end of summer.

i am understanding more about the "buckets" described in another post. when i was below the 660 bucket, the age of my accounts was a plus. Now i'm in the 660 plus bucket and they are telling me that i have a short credit history because my oldest account was opened 15 years ago and the average age of my accounts is only 12 years.

I GET IT, but who cares because i am feeling almost respectable once again

Pretty good girlie. Look at the bright side. The accounts are young and so are you. What's the alternative? Old accounts and ... LOL.
