FOund out today after buying my monthly TU from myfico that my two AMEX charge card balances were added to my 'revolving' balance and that caused my util to go up and I lost 8 points.

Is that normal?

Yes, that is normal with Amex charge cards (open accounts) when a TU98 score is pulled. TU04, however, doesn't factor Amex charge cards in revolving util calculations

Is your AMEX the type where you must pay the balance in full each month ?
