What type of late and how old?

IMHO 60 day late > no

old 30 day late - possible.

30 day late is from a paid auto loan 2007. I have GW'd WF to no end trying to get it off there to no avail. They processed the payment on the 30th day. Now I just wonder I it's realistic to think I can get there

I recently had a 30 day late removed from my report. I had been gwing them to death and received the automated reply that they wouldnt change it. Then thanks to lily on myfico who had an email for kohls I was able to actually speak to someone and explain what happened and she replied with it is being deleted and I will send you a letter. Then within just a couple days it was gone. I was thrilled.

I was able to get to 777 with a 6 year old 120 day late. I have a thick file with a 12 year AAoA though.

I think I will be able to reach 780 or so but anything above that will take more time. I think the late will have to age off a bit more.....we shall see though.
