    <description>&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Hi Tuscani,&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;I managed to locate some information on the web about this.&amp;nbsp; The info came from &lt;A href="http://www.bad-credit-advisor.com/hawk-alert.html" target="_blank"&gt;www.bad-credit-advisor.com/hawk-alert.html&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Apparently, the Fraud Alert is part of the normal check they do on a CR.&amp;nbsp; In regards to the term&amp;nbsp;"Hawk Alert" which&amp;nbsp;came from Transunion, &amp;nbsp;it said there are three possible annotations:&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;EM&gt;"AVAILABLE AND CLEAR"&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt; means no fraudulent activity has been found, sometimes same message can be read as - your application processing will continue.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;EM&gt;"INPUT SSN USED IN DEATH BENEFITS ..."&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt; - that means someone used Social Security Number belonged to a deceased person.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;EM&gt;"...
