This may be old news to many of you FICO veterans, but I just received the full mortage credit review report for Old Republic Services (service provider for many mortgage companies) and it stated that:

Equifax Beacon 5.0 Score Range is minimum 334 to maximum 818

Experian Fair Isaac V2 Score Range is minimum 320 to maximum 844

TU FICORisk Score Classic 04 Score Range is minumum 309 to maximum 839

Also sort of strange but I had a full 60 point spread between my low and middle score and an almost 90 point score between my lowest and highest score.

I know there are many different algorithms but that seems like an excessive spread with a completely clean file, thick file (40 accts) and AAoA of 11 years

A 90-point spread is pretty wide. How much does the information vary on your reports?

I have about a 20-point spread, and have an installment loan on one report but not the others.

There is little to no difference between the bureaus when I view on the myfico 3 in 1 comparison report. A few small differences in high balance ever reported and inquiries (I only have two) may be different between them but no lates, no major differences in balances, and no adverse entries in any of them. They may reading some old student loans that were refi-ed years ago differently but they all show up on all three reports. EQ and EX are in the 800s but TU is way low.

I know that myfico is an old TU98 and the mortgage company used TU04 but there is still an almost 90 point spread. I just converted my Discover to IT so anxious to see what my TU08 score is when my account updates.

So I finally got my Discover TU08 score and it is in the 800s as well (so 90(!) points higher than the TU98 score).

I know they changed the formula but 90 points between TU98 and TU08 with the exactly same information in the TU file borders on the ridiculous.

Do you perhaps have a Amex charge card, TU98 scores a charge card very differently from the TU08 model.

The score range your credit report can be attributed to several possibilities. Differences in the FICO scoring model like TU 98 and TU 04 and Experian 08 (MY fico) and FICO v 2 ( lender) The Equifax scores should be close if not the same between MYFICO and Beacon 5.0 same scoring model. Those differences are to be expected some people will receive a higher score and some a lower score it based on your credit history. Also different credit data at each bureau such as an account that only reports to one bureau, The credit data for a trade line is not reporting the same at all three bureaus. The key thing to make sure is that what is being reported to the bureau is accurate and the score will be what it will be based on how that score model calculates it. If provided look at the score reasons and see what is hurting your score and if possible take a corrective action. For help with score reaosns see the link below

http://www.scoreinfo.org/FICO-Scores/Pages/Score-Factors.aspx

Thank you for the information.

As you say, my EQ and EX are in line with myfico.

It is still astounding to me that such a huge 90ish point difference exists between a TU98/TU04 and TU08 score with the exact same data reported in my file at TU.

TU04 score is 731 and factors are: Number of established accounts (Code:028) and Amount owed on revolving accounts is too high (Code:011)

TU08 score is 821 and factor is only: amount owed on revolving accts is too high

Strange considering that utlization is only 17% (all on one card) regardless.

Keep in mind you have three different FICO score models liking at the same date maybe slightly different depending on when they were all pulled. Account may have updated between when the credit report was pulled form Trans Union. Beacuse the models treat the differently there is always good chance you can get different results. FICO has added and revised their scorecards (buckets ) over the years .
