is it possible to open a closed CC account and if so, what is the cut off time in regards to how long an account was closed, can not be reopen again? Thanks

That's a good question and could be useful!

Suppose you closed out a CC account; later sent GW letters and they removed the baddies... One could ask them to re-open the account and BAM -- instant good credit???

I think there's a statute of limitations or something which would prevent that....

DW has a Fashion Bug card from 1989, still open, and still on her CRs. She hasn't shopped there in probably 5 years, and I've kept on her butt to get the CC reopened. They said just come in the store, and show ID.

Calling her on it this weekend.
