ok, heres my question... i have 7-8 cc's ranging from $3000-$16000 limits. three have a balance of 40% or less on them and the ave age is 2-3 years. im also a AU on my wifes cap one for the past 8 years which has a $20k limit but she just made a $10k business purchase on it.... so i was wondering everyones thoughts on what would happen if i had her take me off as an AU? would my score dump or go up? id lose available credit, but debt as well and id lose that older account????

as Cookie said, garden work on paying down your credit cards perferably have only one card report with 9% or less. A loan is usually manual review, they will see that you are only a AU on the card and not responsible or you can mention it the account becomes an issue. Lowing your UTL and gardening should get your score over 700 and get you a better APR on the loan.
