Ok, I'm starting to think I'm wasting money using this site. I have contacted customer service several times today. Here's the deal...I got a 1500 cli that has been reported to the bureaus. I know this because the increase is showing up on other sites. Well it's not showing up on my fico. They told be to pull the credit reports and it will update. Umm really 25 dollars a month and I still have to pay an xtra 45 just to update the scores? Seriously??? They also told me to contact the bureaus and have them report it to my fico. I call the bureaus and they tell me that my fico is supposed to be pulling it from them. I'm on the verge of canceling my subscription with my fico. Seems pointless to pay for something that is not going to update, unless I pay more money! Ugh😡😡

No need to contact the bureaus, as that won't help at all.

I haven't used myFico's monitoring in a while, but it used to be that in the background they would check your reports a couple times a week and if something happened to trigger a change (a new account, change in balance, etc.), and you had the alerts setup for those changes, you would get the updated score. Sometimes it lagged behind a couple days, but it was pretty good.

Keep in mind that adding a new account could be a wash score wise, especially with that small of a CL. The new inquiry (i'm sure there was one) and the effect on your age of accounts usually offsets the credit limit boost, unless your utilization was above a bracket and this lowered it into a new bracket (i.e. went from 32% to 19%.

Hope it all works out for you.

No I've had Capitol one for a year. It was a credit line increase. Went from 500 to 2000. I'm just frustrated why that wouldn't have triggered an increase.
