Html error when changing signature image

Anonymous — Sun, 17 Jul 2016 05:50:46 GMT

Hi guys, can you help me change it to this image: http://puu.sh/q4mNI/029794647c.jpg and help me make it fit the signature bar if possible? (not too small or too big)

I'm asking since I'm getting the html error when I try changing.

Thanks.

I am getting the same error. I think the permissions for the "Valued Contributor" are in need of correcting. I was able to change mine until I got this title.

No mod help?...

Nope. One mod told me he didn't know why it was happening but I have managed enough forums to know its a setting somewhere that needs to be changed. I can't even change my siggy scores because it wants to take away my silver spade.

I've updated your signature.

As for why HTML doesn't appear to be working for some member signatures, I will send a message to Admin to look into.

Hi Sunrise, thank you so much!!!

I actually just updated my signature picture since I just got approved. Could you change it to this one instead? http://puu.sh/q7Wht/285906c752.jpg

Many thanks.

Not sure why it's not working for you either. I fixed it for you though.

Admin is looking into this. We aren't aware of any permissions changes for that ranking.

Thanks for the update. May not be a change but rather an issue with how the rank was created in the first place. A lot of these forum programs allow you to "copy" a rank to create a new one in the name of expedience. This one acts like the new member rank so that might be a good starting point. As long as it gets resolved I guess it really doesn't matter. It's really more of an annoyance since it doesn't impact anything but the signatures.

lol. It's funny to watch them playing with this issue. I am a new member with almost 1300 posts. I saved a screen capture of it but can't post it because of this issue. lol

Are you able to post it now? Admin should have corrected this, but it might have happened after your post.

No, and I am showing as a new visitor now too.

At risk of stating the obvious, there is a larger issue with the ranks that seems to be at the heart of this. A service ticket has been submitted on this, so hopefully this will get resolved soon.

I just tried to update some info in my signature, and I'm getting the same error. Funny thing is..... I can refresh the page and my original, working html is there, but when I try to save that.... i get the error, lol. My signature remains the same, even though I get an error when I try to save that code. My rank hasn't changed in a few months.

I'm having this error as well, I can't update my signature without everything but the credit scores being chopped out.

Could someone change the Double Cash image to https://www.citi.com/CRD/images/card_no_reflection/citi-thankyou-premier-credit-card.jpg

and change the title accordingly? "Citi ThankYou Premier"

Thanks!

Hi, this is happening to me too. I can't add any html to my signature. A mod had to add the seedling for me. But me, on my own, I cannot add anything to my signature. Instead, I receive the following error: invalid html. Though I know my html is valid(I am a software engineer).
