how can i get negative(paid) items deleted from my credit report

i asked several collection agencies before and after my debts were paid if they could delete the accounts from my credit report and they said no, i heard that they can but they refuse or say they can't; could someone tell me how.

Send GW letters to the CA or the OC if they still own the debt. Send PFD letters if the debt is unpaid.

i read a couple of GW letters and they don't sound like they would help my predicament: I have several negative accounts on the credit report(i.e., phone bills, cables bills, a closed credit card account {which will be pif as of july 2008} and some medical bills) that have been PIF for some time and thats really what i'm wanting removed at this time.

I also have a balnce with a collection agency from a college where i registered for classes and never attended and got stuck with the bill, the school refused to let me appeal the balAnce and its been on my cr for 6 years now i just made payment arrangements with them but what are my other options for getting that removed since i honestly don't owe it.

First off, could you please post with smaller font. It makes it too hard to read.

Then send them PFD letters if the debt is not paid. It is a pay for delete. As far as the medical bills that are paid, you can still send a GW letter to the OC and see if they will remove them.

Out of readability, try sticking with the default font. A larger font is not very palatable on the eyes (for most) and you'll have more readers and responses.

There's three ways to remove a paid CA:

1) send a GW letter. A GW letter is meant to be customized to your situation.

2) Send a DV to a paid CA. Often they don't like to take time to validate and some will delete.

3) Wait out the 7 yrs.

If unpaid, and a CA, send them a DV. If you did set up payment arrangements as mentioned, they likely you reset your SOL. Save up enough to pay 100% of the debt. Send the DV and if they validate to your liking, then offer the PFD for 100% of the balance.

If you have paid COs from OCs, then offer GWs to them. Again customize the letter. If unpaid OCs, then offer a PFD for 100%. If unpaid and within SOL, expect a hightened level of collection activity.
