Has anyone received their stimulus package today???? My last ss# is 02 and i have not received anything and yes i did do an electronic refund and yes i do qualify, thanks

My last two qualify for a refund deposit on or about May 2.

Do they direct deposit if you filed your taxes with direct deposit? Is that how it works?

Yep - if you did DD on your tax refund, you'll get your stimulus "check" by DD, too.

I am also in the first wave. I will wait for BoA to actualize and will be reporting back as soon as I see it.

On the otherhand I dont know why I am so waiting for it to come in...its already spent! I guess I am just happy to be getting my UTL down.

They will most likely show up in your accounts after midnight tonight when banks update accounts. The treasury wasnt going to start with DD until around 9AM this morning.

It will very likely go in tonight, since banks dont update their systems on Sunday nights.

i was supposed to be getting mine by DD on May 9th. any insight as to when those will go in?? i heard that we are all getting them earlier than planned.

I CANT WAIT TO START PAYING DOWN MY CREDIT CARDS!!!

If you got a refund and did regular direct deposit, the stimulus will also be direct deposited. Turbotax isn't going to be treated any differently.

I just got off the phone with irs and they said that it would be mailed ...becuz of turbotax sheesh...

I"ve read that if you paid for your turbotax (or other account) out of your refund that was dd'd that's why we're getting checks instead of DD...

I used TurboTax but had it do the direct deposit option. Shouldn't it still be an ordinary DD transaction on their end still?

That’s not true if you're one of the people who prepared their taxes on line through the site Turbo Tax and chose to have the preparation fee taken out of your return.

When you do that, the IRS sends your refund check to Turbo Tax’s bank, they take out their share and then deposit the rest into your bank account.

If you did it that way, instead of paying for the prep fee separately with a credit card, your stimulus check will be mailed to you.

The same is true if you received a refund anticipation loan or if you split your refund between several accounts.

It's just the easiest way for the IRS to make sure there are no errors when it comes to sending you the money.

ok so i got mine dd'd as well but my turbo tax was free, would it the rebate still come to me via mail or will it be dd'd???

I called and asked IRS That this morning and the guy stated that Oh you used Turbotax and I was like yeah but I also got it direct deposited and he was like yea but you used turbotax so that falls into the mail batch like people that used h&r block , Jackson Hewitt etc so geez i gotta wait for the mail he said the checks will go out may 9th ....

So if I filed with H&R Block online that falls into the paper filing catagory?
