Equifax updating

I've moved and changed my address with all of my creditors. EX and TU appear to have updated everything and they are showing my new address, along with my most recent balances on CCs. EQ hasn't updated any balances since about the middle of March, and is still displaying my previous address as current. Inqs for utilities made on 03/28 are showing up, and that is the most recent thing on there. Should I be worried about a split file or anything, or are they just taking forever to update?

I suppose I am probably not the only person that's had this problem, but EQ is still behind. The last account that appears to have updated is my Discover account, which updated EX and TU on 3/30. I have a Citi card that reported to the other two on 04/04 and it has not updated on EQ. I want these cards to update because I've moved and they have my new address.

Any ideas or suggestions? I called EQ at the dispute number given on their real report (one with a confirmation #). The CSR there was pretty unhelpful.

Well, now it's Cinco de Mayo, and Equifax is still stuck. I've seen where other people have had stuck files. Any suggestions on how to get it unstuck, or do I just have to sit here and hope that nothing bad happens because the info is wrong? Every account is out of date now when compared with my other CRs.

For it seems that TU is always the slowest to update of the three. EX is typically the quickest.

For me EX is the fastest, TU is next, and EQ is the slowest and I have had to deal with duplicates 3x with them after disputes. We are EQ=CSC here.

Did you get your license updated yet?

Do you have a new Utility bill?

Sned either of these to the FAX number along with

Name, DOB, SSN and EQ file number in BOLD -

Please update my address-

Do you think getting the address updated that way will also jump start the 6 accounts that no longer have current information?

All mine update pretty regularly & within a week or so of each other, but here's what I've found...

EX did update my address (along with TU & EQ) last June when I bought my house, then a few months ago, went back to my old apartment address! ???

Sounds like maybe something reported using your old address. Not sure how sticky that is, but you might be able to use the same method Timothy told me to try.

I did as Timothy suggested and faxed them a utility bill and my info. They updated the address, and now two of my accounts have been updated to current. Hopefully the rest will follow as their statements hit. Thanks!
