Judgement Removed - Will Score Increase?

I recently had a $2771 judgement on my credit report removed that was not mine - it was my father's and we share the same name. Anyway, now that I have gotten throught that hurdle what kind of score increase should I expect and when should I pull my FICO's?

Depends on a lot of factors, like the age of the judgment etc. Was it recent or old? I've seen judgments removed and people report small rise in scores, no rise, or huge a rise. So many variables.

Is this the only judgement appearing on your file? If so, I'd guess a pretty nice bump. If you have others judgements, maybe nothing at all.

Like I responded before...I got "* pts"...only 8...I was expecting a lot...it was a judgment..I though that kind of stuff kills your scores...

The judgement was placed on my credit sometime in early 2006 and was not mine. It is the only judgement ever placed on my credit file - thank god! What do you all think?

Mine was placed in November 2007...and removed in February...8 pts...hope you see more than I did...
