Beacon score?

I think I have read on here that your beacon score is the same as EQ.? I recently tried to re-finance my car loanwith a CU, and was told a much lower score than my fico EQ. Do they figure your score diffrently? Thanks.

Both are FICO scores, but Beacon is an older version of the FIOC formula. Or maybe your CU was using an automobile-enhanced version of the formula.

They told me my beacon score was 549 i believe, and my fico EQ is actually 659. Big difference.

Beacon scores these days are "FAKO" scores, which means they are not reliable indicators of where your FICO score is at.

Could be the auto-enhanced FICO. My dealership referred to it as a "FICA"

I spoke to the CU yesterday, and they pulled EQ, and it was the auto enhanced score.

My CU says that Beacon Scores are more reliable........whatever. My fako (Beacon) is 545, my EQ Fico is 633.

thats totally different from what's my CU told me, They pulled my Beacon score which it came exactly same as EQ FICO score...

Beacon is the EQ FICO score.
