True credit

I actually was hesitant in opening a TC account, but now im glad I did, Its not the score im really interested in now, but instead updates on GW and new credit info.. LOVIN it so far!

I agree. I too have TC and I pull my reports daily. Updates are posted immediately. It is pretty cool.

Yep, I am sold as well. I was very hesitant at first, but about a month ago, I took the plunge. I am so glad that I did. I have a lot of activity going on from a mini app spree and seeing the updates happen are great.

Me too...I've had it for about a year or so. They really are very "speedy" when it comes to new information.

One ? to you all who have TC...does your sections for eq show up as white blocks & not the green "ok's"?? Just wondered if I'm alone on this one.

I have TC..........and I like it. I just wish it showed DOLD, at least for now.......and until my score get higher.

TC fan here as well!

Just a note of caution: Do NOT update your report while bored at say 1 a.m. or 4 a.m. cuz then you have to wait until that exact time AGAIN before you can update!

I still don't understand how TC can have updated info before myFico....

Had it for a couple months now and I love it as well. I only wish there score weren't fako's at least not for EQ.

I understand what you are saying. But just to clear any confusion ahead of time, you don't have to update at the EXACT same time everytime. You just have to wait at least 24 hours in between updates. So, if you update at 1am on Tuesday, you can not update again until 1 am Wednesday.

I am glad that those aren't real FICOs. They are 52 points lower than my FICOs on avg.

I love how they list phone numbers and addresses for EVERYONE who reports on your credit, even for inquiries. Sometimes it can be difficult to find out who "Bur Col Rec" is, but scroll down, and you will know!

My cousin told me about TC, and I'm addicted to it as well. I'm so into improving my score. I take my finances and credit scores very seriously now. Especially as I get older, and would like acquire major purchases in the future...like a house!

Canceling TC because I don't like that they don't give the credit line on the reports. Plus you can only get an update every 24 hours (and it's down to the minute). I will keep my CreditCheckTotal since I am locked in at $19.95 a month for that. I can pull it whenever I want and it's easier to read.

I have and I ditched TC. They're both pretty good but the Chase one is only $11.99 per month. Both pull all 3 reports and give 3 FAKOs. For me, the Chase FAKOs are about 100 points lower than my FICOs, but they seem to go up and down pretty accurately, so it's been a good gauge for what my real scores look like. (I just add 100 pts) My TC FAKOs were all over the place.

I signed up for TC this past week and cancelled SW. We are doing lots of repair and it's great to see updates everyday. Our FAKOS are about 100 points lower.

Mine do, although you have to click "More about this account" or click "Printer Friendly Version" link. I usually admire all the pretty green boxes for a few minutes and then hit the printer-friendly link to get everything to display all at once. It's pretty much all in there --DOLA, highest balance, etc.

Note: not all the boxes on my TC reports are green --there are still some yellows showing, but it's a heckuva lot better than when I started!

Another note: EQ on TC: as noted before, you get white boxes (X's on the printer-friendly version); as EQ does not report the full MM/DD/YYYY, but only MM/YYYY, it sometimes displays weirdly.

Some loans and mortgages display as having been updated on the first or last of the month, even when it was a different date. This can be true with all three reports. I have one displaying as having been updated on 5/31/2008. Ummm, I don't think so...

This sort of thing happens with just about every report re-seller, including myFICO. It's a question of how the data maps from the original report to the secondary report.
