Never had a loan or credit card and show a low credit score

I have never had a loan or credit card in my name and I now have a bad credit score because of it. I am having a hard time building credit because I can not even get a credit card or loan. It is just like I ruined my credit by never building any. I would take any info on how or where to start. I also do my banking with a small credit union and I am pretty sure a loan from there if I could get one would not help.

Try Capital One..they have a great card for people with no credit...also try Orchard Bank...given by HSBC...also Crown Jewelers might be good...they have no credit check...

Get your credit card from your credit union. They usually have better rates and no annual fees. If you have a good, long-term relationship with them they will probably give you an unsecured card. It does help.
