I found this inquiry on my EQ CR... from 6/3/08.

AT&T SRVS

I'm not sure what this is... never had any kind of dealings with AT&T phone or credit card. Does anyone know a number I could call and find out what's going on and get this removed?

Nope, never had ATT service. What's the best route to disputing it? It's on my Equifax (which in TX is owned by CSC). As far as I know CSC doesn't allow you to dispute inquiries.

It sounds like someone tried to open a phone in your name. I would get on the horn with ATT and let them know. You might need to put a FA on your file if they did.
