what is the cheapest way to see your credit report every month and seeing your true fico score every month. I know myfico does it but i am trying to see if there is anything cheaper. thanks

There just isn't. Really.

Cheapest way to see reports: TrueCredit with a promo deal. There are other similar services. Just be sure to find one that allows daily pulls.

Cheapest way to track scores: Scorewatch, sorta. It tracks EQ, and when it works, it's great, and when it goes into a coma, it will drive you nuts.

The credit bureaus charge every time a FICO report is pulled, so no one has been able to cook up an affordable way to see real-time FICO's.

What will work is to hang around here, reading a lot, especially on Understanding FICO Scoring, and learn what is and isn't apt to trigger a score change. Score changes are simply reflections of changes on your reports. Monitor your reports frequently, daily if you like, and when you see these changes happen, decide if you want to pay for the FICO scores. Ignore the scores they give you --they don't match FICO's, they're confusing, and the advice will seriously mess up your understanding.

When you do pull your FICO's, first Google fico discount coupon code, and you should be able to get a code for at least 15% off.

Speaking of Coma...is it in one now ? Have not had a score alert since April 23, other then an email telling me my score hadn't changed over a month ago. Tempted to buy, but then I know I will get one the next day

I pay ten or fifteen bucks a month and I can pull my EQ report as often as I like. When changes occur Scorewatch shows me my score.

I'm trying to obtain a coupon/promo code for TU & EX scores.... google has lead me to nothing other than forum post that state search google.... what am I doing wrong?

Well, firstinlastout, I received a scorewatch alert last night after I posted . No change in two months, despite the fact that my utiliation has probably gone from about 22% to 10%...oh well, might spring and run a report.

Try googling "truecredit promotion code" and see if you find anything. I don't subscribe, but thats what I do for anything else. Usually EDITED works for EDITED on myfico.

I enter these exact terms:

fico discount coupon code

You should get a good list. You'll probably have to check out a few, and some might be displaying expired codes, but keep looking.

BTW, we don't publish these codes here as a courtesy to our forum host (FICO), and these codes are offered by other companies.

No prob, it happens all the time. We do publish the codes that FICO periodically issues, like for the one-year birthday of the forums, for example.

Those of us who bookmark the log-in page never see the discount codes when FICO publishes them on the home page, so I love it when someone starts a thread about, hey, they've posted a new code.

We sometimes have some odd thou-shalt-nots on these forums, due to the fact that we're sponsored by FICO. Don't want to step on the host/ hostess's toes!
