You have to call JC Penney, Macy's and Sears.

It's not really up to the CRA's to contact the creditor to update the info.

I had the same problem with my BofA card I've had for like 3 or 4 years now.

They said they report to all 3 agencies and it wasn't showing on my Experian. Called a credit specialist at BofA, he pulled my Experian that they have (doesn't count as a Hard Inquiry I don't think... didn't think to ask if it's considered a soft pull), and he saw that it wasn't there for whatever reason and e-mailed Experian to get it taken care.

Told me it would take 30 days minimum, possibly up to 2 months max.

Message Edited by iDShaDoW on 06-30-2008 07:42 PM

Beats me then.

I didn't get much of an answer from the CRA. The BofA guy was much more helpful and e-mailed Experian for me.

The Experian rep thought I was calling to dispute and get a BofA account off my report instead of finding out why it's not on there to begin with.
