I got softed by Wells Fargo Financial last month. I took a CFL from them, not knowing any better, when a tuition bill took an evil hop. They keep checking on me, I guess!

Considering I paid off a 3 year loan in 8 months, you'd think they wouldn't want me back.

I was shocked today that I got an offer from Citibank CFL for 5k. The last time I saw one of those was while I was still in DMP. I instantly thought to pull all my CR's to see if my scores and gone south and then common sense took hold and I smiled.

They probably pulled my EX score since it dropped 17 points( for my auto loan) and maybe they thought the old Marty was back. Seriously since they are local, they probably had me on a mailing list. The irony was that I was next store to them on my way home when I stoped to get some take-out for dinner.

Whats next an offer from Aspire. Yes I used to get those while I was in DMP.

I forogot to add that 2 Citibank products in DMP. So it was funny in a way that they would send me an offer while I was in DMP.

I did just spend $38 here to pull my 3 reports. Maybe they will loan me the $38 I spent on my debit card to check my scores in part due to the offer they sent me.

I know I am destined for FPA (FICO puller anonymous).

Man, your scores look good. I dont see why you wouln't be able to get just about any card. Unless it has something to do with the DMP. soon as I hit 690's to 700's Im going to app-it-up and hope for the best.

Thanks but dont be fooled by my scores. In a real sense I will always be a little subprime.

I will always have to watch what I do with credit since it is too easy to fall back into old ways. Some people may have a natural ability to manage money and be thrifty but I know that's not me. I have to work at it, a lot.

At least I got out of my system the desire to get more CCCs (I have 3 and that is probably it). I did want the Kiss Visa card but the is a year away until my car loan is 1 year old.

I had a product in DMP from most of the major players and I wouldnt want to go back to them nor to I suspect they would want my regardless of what my scores were. The Kiss card is a Chase product and I never had an account with them before.

I am trying to get to 800 on the cheap so we will see what happens. That is still 3 years plus away when my major derog falls off.
