Identification stolen

Hello all. A young friend of mine had her car broken into and her purse stolen. She is preparing to go to college so had all of her documentation in the car ( SS card, birth certificate, DL, school ID}. She has a good FICO score of 720ish and is devastated right now. Any advice? She already canceled the one credit card she has. Thanks

I hope she just notified them it was stolen- not canceled it.

Notify bank- Checks/debit card

Put Fraud Alert on

File police report

Thanks Timothy, Yes she notified the bank that the card was stolen. I misspoke earlier when I said canceled the card. Thanks also for your other suggestions!
