What does the word UNRATED mean

Can you copy and paste one of the entries here, leave out personal information such as account numbers.

I am pulling from myfico and it show "UNRATED" under current status

Would this be a TU report?

I believe this is just something to do with how the report is displayed.

When you order your report through myFICO, myFICO gets the data from the CRA and then displays it to you.

I think it is myFICO's way of showing nothing is reported.......I just know it has something to do with how the information is displayed.

However, no effect on scores.

The one with a "last activity date" of 1997 should NOT be showing any negative items. It is too old. I would dispute that with the CRA - they need to delete it from your file.

Did you ever file bankruptcy? They have a notation "Unrated or Bankruptcy" which this may fall into. If the negative item is not accurate, then you need to dispute it with the CRA.

The notation unrated or unrated/bankruptcy on a TU report has no effect on scores. It's really a bug more than anything else. You are most likely to see this notation with SL TLs. I know it's irritating to look at, but it's nothing to concern yourself with.
