Rising Equifax SCORE!!

I just recently got my credit report and did not like what I saw. I saw that the scores were pretty good but that the equifax is the one that's screwing me over, it's 631. How would I raise that?

There are a ton of stickied threads at the top of the messages in this forum. One is Veni, Vidi, Vinci, Visa or How to Master Your MasterCard and Credit Scoring 101. They provide explanations and examples of what to do to maximize your scores, such as keeping balances below 10% of their CLs and making sure everything is always paid on time. Check 'em out!

I do all they say to do and my EQ has not moved in almost a year. They are usually the lowest. No one knows why.

I feel your pain.. same here.. Equifax is way lower than my other

scores and there are no baddies, etc. I don't understand it either.

EQ is my lowest too. Only one of the three still reporting a baddie that I disputed. The other two CRA's took the baddie off.

For research purposes, I must ask:

To those with a lowest score with EQ, how many new accounts do you have? (Within 6 months)

Are you talking about accounts that are open in the last 6months or are you talking about how many times applied for credit?

Well up until today EQ was my lowest at 647, but it jumped 26 pts to 673! The only new account I have opened within 6 months is Nordstroms.
