I disputed something that EX verified and TU deleted, well, this is what EQ pulled,

I disputed it, they changed the entire TL to show a satifsfactory account instead of deleting it (I have a copy of the account showing all of this) and then turned around and changed all the info back to a negative TL but never sent me the results of the dispute.

I guess the 46 points my score went up when they changed the info will be taken away.

Message Edited by gdtobefree on 12-05-2008 01:04 PM

My guess is that chances are about 100% that they will say that it was verified.

What to do about it? Let's see what others, who have experienced this bliss have to say.

Hi mudbug. I would say that EQ was fine with how they did things. They have a full 30 days to respond. In the meantime, there could have been other items that updated on the report, giving OP reason to get a SW alert or to pull credit and find out what happened that way.

If they had removed it and then put it back on after dispute, I would say OP would have a great case, but being within the dispute timeframe, they were fine.

The thing is that that's the way it is. TLs are taken out of the scoring formula during a dispute. There is nothing that we can do about it. It's how it is.
