https://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/General-Credit-Topics/Old-Collection-Removed-Now-New-Collection-Appears/m-p/395089#M120544 <P>OK, here is the story.&nbsp; I DV'd a collection over 1 + year ago (Acceptance Collection)..it worked and was removed.&nbsp; About 6 months ago appeared again with a different amount&nbsp;(same collection agency) again sent letter with original letter and was removed once again.&nbsp; Fast forward today get a email from my credit monitoring service, new collection agency appears on Experian (Vision Credit Solution) new dates, different amount but does not tell me the OC.&nbsp; I can only assume this is the same collection just was sold to another CA as I've had a clean history for over 2+ years.&nbsp; I disputed with Experian (is not on TU or EQ yet), as I have NOT received anything from this CA.</P><P>Two questions..Can this be a reaging issue?&nbsp; Is this even legal as the first CA could NOT validate this debt and sold it to another CA?&nbsp; The OC (HSBC)&nbsp;on this has already fallen off two of my credit reports&nbsp;(by disputing)&nbsp;and is only showing on Equifax with a date of last activity 2005 and amount of high balance&nbsp;$890.
