All my accounts update on TU and EQ, but EXP is still behind the times. What gives? I have paid all my balances down to raise my scores. TU and EQ are both in the 700's now but EXP is still 690. Do they just updte when they feel like it? Or Do I blame the creditors?

Now that IS funny . . . Exp is always the first to report for me with TU coming in a close second (2 - 3 days behind), but EQ will inevitably take WEEKS longer to update. This is true on 12 tradelines, not just one or two. Wonder if they have a posting bucket that everything falls into and gets posted at a certain time no matter when it's received.

Experian is w/o a doubt the fastest to report info. That does not mean your score will increase though.

My question is, 'should you really take Experian with a grain of salt'. What I mean by this is, the true fico score comes from Equifax. Also, what I've been told, that Equifax is the Credit Bureau you should gauge your score by, then Transunion.

I would agree with smallfry that is the fastest to report.

When you get a score directly from TU or EX, they're FAKO's. (Also from the credit monitoring services.)

No one FICO score is the one to go by. Some areas of the country are more likely to pull one than the other, but they're all equally valid, even when they're different.

Remember, of course, that EX is easily the most used CRA by lenders when checking your credit for credit cards and auto loans.

I would estimate that at least half of all credit checks for non-mtg credit applications use EX (most if not all mtg applications pull all 3).

The pulling of credit by a certain repository is most definitely a regional thing. Where I live, I would estimate that over 90% of the lenders use TU.

Its seems like no one ever pulls my experian and its my best score....They always seem to pull TU(worst one) and maybe Eq sometimes...Bust most inqu and pulls come off TU for me And im in OK
