Is this true? Unfortunately mine did, and I got the rejection letter today for a late in 2005.

Should I keep bugging them? They said it's against the law......blah blah. But is that true? I'm new at all this....please forgive all the questions.

CUs report.

Keep sending them GW letters. It is not illegal. By law, they must report accurately. But if they adjust their own records first, then technically, they are reporting accurate information (by reporting no lates). Keep bugging them. Try sending to the Pres/CEO of the CU too. Be persistent but friendly.

Does it really show on your credit report if you have something owed to checksystems?

I didn't think so..I had a couple that I made good on but I don't think I ever paid the fee associated with them and just don/t write checks at those stores and they never show up on any of my 3 credit reports
