Go to the hospital if possible, if not contact them and get an itemized bill for the date of service they are saying you owe.

Look at the amount of the bill they billed, compare to the amount the insurance paid.

If needed, go higher up at the hospital. Accounts manager, collections manager, etc. Go as high as needed to get it taken care of.

Guys,

Here is my dilema, For the past year and a half I have been receving these medical bill for my kids from a collection agency most of them have either been paid by the Insurance company or by myself.

The issue I am having is with this one bill which has been paid to the hospital by the insurance company in 2007 but the hospital and the collection agancy keep insisting that I have to pay the balance of 178.00. With the explanation of benefits I have received from my insurance company all charges have been paid and its says that I am not suppose to pay anything. The same explanation has been sent to the hospital and the collection agency but they keep insisting.

What can I do or who can I speak to stop this.

Thanks

Ed
