Yes, I am doing credit steps. I hope that will help. I just spent 400 on the card and PIF the next day. I am waiting for it to report to the other agencies. I am thinking my score will drop when it sees the credit card and then rebound in a couple mos. What do you think? It's probably to early too ask for a CLI increase. The EX report stated that the available credit it too low. I have an Orchard bank card with 300 cl on it. The balance is 0.

I found out by pulling my credit report that my CU was not reporting my secured card to TU/EX. They are also not reporting my Auto Loan. All were established after bk. I am recovering from bk and it is so important the CRA see that I handle credit wisely after. I contacted my CU and was told that there is nothing that can be done as they only report to EQ. This is my highest score 640. What do I do? I really want to buy a house next year after March which will be the 2 year mark and I should qualify for an FHA loan. I am sure that TU/EX scores will improve by then at least the FICO simulator says that it will. I am just bummed because I am doing everything that I was told to do and no luck. The bad thing is that my scores are so low and TU/EX seems to be what CC's pull when I apply. I did just get a Cap 1 card so maybe they will report to TU/EX. No one else will give me a chance at this time. Any advice would be appreciated.

It's been my experience that Cap1 reports to all three bureaus. Are you doing the Cap1 Credit Steps?

Your score probably drop a few points but will rebound in about 3 monts. The Credit Steps gives you automatic increases after 3 months if you pay on time and don't go over the limit. Here's a thread about the program and getting a backdoor CLI.

http://ficoforums.myfico.com/fico/board/crawl_message?board.id=creditcard&message.id=71364
