Having Hard Time Finding SOL

Hello, I am having a difficult time finding my SOL. I have called AG and they sent me elsewhere and they said they couldn't tell me and I can't seem to find what I need on websites they gave me. Can someone show me what the SOL would be for a home security company in Pennsylvania? I had a contract in fed 2005. I also would need to know if SOL goes by DOFD or something else. Thanks much

SOL for written contracts is 4 years.

SOL would be based on when you last made a payment. In some states any type of payment, promise to pay, acknowledging the debt, etc. will reset the SOL.

DOFD is when you were late and never brought the account current again.

Assuming that you are aware of the art of "googling" please proceed to enter these five letters in the

google box on your computer screen... sol pa. The first item to appear will answer the "hard to find" information you have labored to find regarding the staue of limitations in Penn's Woods.

Had OP googled "sol pa", and clicked the first link, then OP would have seen the wrong answer. Per Sect. 5525, the SOL for written contracts is 4 years, and not 6.

llecs thank you so much. I tried the google thing and I saw the same thing 6 years which really made no sense to me so thatnks very much for clearing that up. So would it be 4 years from last payment then?

Based on the definition, I'd argue that it is 4 yrs from DOFD.
