Are you sure you can see fresh data daily with EQ and EX? That doesn't match my experience. With EX it showed fresh data for 90 days and then the report # stopped working. With EQ you could pull the report for 60 days. But now that I think about it I think you were only getting fresh data on the first day you pulled the EQ report.

Also, in regards to the Transunion report....will it refresh the data throughout the day you pull the free report? Will it let you keep pulling it for multiple times throughout the day for free? Like if you pull in the early afternoon and then pull it at night the same day, could it have different data at night?

Thanks

it won't let me see my TU because it can't authenticate me. It's asking me for the numbers to old revolving accounts for which I no longer have the numbers

so I'm trying to figure out what to do. I see the numbers on my old EQ report but that leaves off the last 4 digits, how am I supposed to find the full 16 digits from an old credit card?

I wonder if entering 12 out of 16 digits would work. Would you get locked out of the account for 1 wrong answer?

Message Edited by urgent_help_needed on 08-21-2009 12:48 PM

I'd like to be able to continue doing this, without them deciding to discontinue this.

I backdoor my full TU and EX reports once a month (I pay for EQ Credit Watch Gold.) They must know that people are doing this, but since the method is to pretend to dispute, I'm thinking that they'd rather we not do so.

With the demise of TrueCredit and the other genuine daily pull monitors (the reports I get through the EX monitoring services like CreditSecure are not genuinely updating daily --maybe weekly, if that), I can understand why someone would want to pull free reports daily. But I'm hoping that these folks' actions don't result in everyone losing access.

To borrow another member's name and siggy, just my 2 cents.

If you backdoor EX too many times too close together you definitely will be locked out. It happened to me. If you wait "a while" after a lockout - and I have no idea how long is enough - you can resume. I find that if I hold it to once per month it will work fine and you can probably get away with a second pull for an emergency. This definitely needs not to be abused!
