My husband and I recently cleaned up the personal information on our reports. Even if it doesn't help FICO scoring, I wanted it to present well in the case of a manual review. We invest in property and do a fair number of mortgates. I thought it may as well be accurate. Our career information was woefully outdated, and we've both come a long way. It may not add points, but I believe it is still useful information.

How much does address info affect your scores? I have the same address listed twice in some cases, and other mild errors

I'm trying to do all I can to bolster my situation. On this token does providing better employment data help? How about personal statements?

Should I call the CRA's to update address information?

From the Credit Scoring 101 thread:

What types of information are NOT used in calculating my FICO score?

1. Your race, color, religion, national origin, sex or marital status
2. Your age
3. Your salary, occupation, title, employer, date employed or employment history
4. Where you live
5. Certain types of inquiries such as promotional, account review, insurance or employment related inquiries
6. Any information not found in your credit file
7. Any information that is not proven to be a predictive of future credit performance

It's important, however, to make sure that your current address (and probably any address within the last few years) is accurate, since any prospective creditor may need to verify your address. Same goes for your birthdate, an issue I'm dealing with right now.
