Inquiries just keep disappearing on Transunion

Well, I have had at least 5 inquiries in the past 6 months on Transunion. But 3 months ago, they started dropping till I had none.

I app'ed for JCPenney about 6 weeks ago for back to school shopping, the discounts plus coupon. So GEMP/JCP was my only Transunion inquiry left.

Yesterday it disappeared. I pulled again today (2 days in a row) and I'm showing ZERO inquries on TU now. The original 4 that dropped have been gone for over 2 months now, so I don't know why TU keeps dropping them, though I won't sue them for it.

Is this par for course for "everyone" or just hit and miss for a certain few lucky individuals?

Hi txjohn,

I have had 3 TU hard inquiries fall off my CBR about 3 months ago. All three were less than 4 months aged at the time. None have reappeared.(keeping fingers crossed)

I have not had any hard EQ inquiries fall off yet. Both of these are about 9 months aged.

ETA: I no longer have any TU hard inquiries reporting.

Good luck and I hope they never reappear for you. I have about 11 inquiries from last October when I test drove a car and they are all sitting on each of my reports. I wish they would go away too.

CCT is my daily puller. I have ScoreWatch also.

You won't see any of those inquiries return using CCT.

yup cct does that for me too. in the last two years i have lost 9 enq on eq and 5 on TU

If you self inquire a lot you may be noticing the effects of bumpage!

CCT = Credit Check Total

If a hard INQ is gone it is gone. It won't be reporting anywhere. However, the INQ's were not removed through CCT.

Is CCT a good service? Does it allow you to pull all three reports daily?

I use CCT and it does allow you to pull daily reports from all three CBs.

I have no complaints with their service.

Not to belabor this as I have no dog in this fight inquiries have been known to reappear if you use a Transunion reseller. TC and a couple of others. In addition they are on a full factual.
