WHO DO CELL PHONE COMPANIES PULL??

DH & I are looking to get a personal cell phone (just have a 'work' one now, provided by employer).

Because of NFCU pulls, DH and I do NOT need anymore EQ pulls, so I'm hoping to hear that TU or EX are a possibility.

Can anyone advise who most cell phone companies pull?? More than likely will be going with either T-mobile or Verizon, but would love any information on any company that anyone can provide.

AT&T pulls EQ.

Verizon was EQ I think. It feelk off my CR so I dont remember. I know it wasnt EX.

Boy, I sure hope I can find out that I could get a TU pull in GA....I don't have any inqs with them......and only a couple with EX.

NFCU will pull EQ for the car re-fi we want to do, so we want to get our EQ scores higher before we re-fi.....not get 'em dinged w/inq!!

If I were to call the companies, would they advise who they'd pull in my state??

Joe, thanks! I actually did check there but not a lot of info. Looks like Tmobile could possibly pull TU, and that AT&T may even now be doing 'softs' on EQ according to most recent poster on that site, but there just arent many entries and some didnt even indicate what CB was pulled.

Guess I may need to just call a few of the companies and see if I can get the 411 from them.

My wife has T-Mobile and they pulled her TU report. We live in Hawaii.

You're welcome. I'm not a member, but it was always my impression that NCFU was a pretty reasonable CU. From what I've heard about them, I can't see them responding drastically to inquiries the way a more conservative CU like PenFed would.

And another thank you, Joe! It's not so much the number of inqs, it's just that our scores took hits with each inq for products we got with them between July and Sept (savings, LOC, CCCs) so we're trying to let our scores rebound a bit from the inqs and let a couple of non-NFCU accts have a birthday so we can get a better % rate. We'd like to at least get them over the 700 mark and think we can do so after this month or next, as long as we dont have anything else hit EQ.

Is Hawaii near GA?!?!?

Boy, you sure live in paradise .....at least from all I've seen and heard....I've never actually been there personally.

But this is encouraging, since I've seen a few posts, here and on WGMC, that T-mobile pulled TU from IL to VA and now HI!!

Looks like they're the company most likely to do so.
