CAs are constantly trading, buying, and selling collection accounts. Chances are when you dispute this debt, the CA just packs it up in a bulk debt file and sells it to another CA, rinse and repeat. You could very well be dealing with this same issue until the CRTP expires on this account. Save your old reports to make sure that a CA doesn't try to reage the debt to keep listing it past the CRTP.

I have 2 collections that i have disputed, removed from all 3 credit bureaus. 6 months to a year they REAPPEAR MAGICALLY from a different collection agency. This will be the 4th time ive fought these same debts that truly are not mine. How do i stop these CA from buying and re-bying these old debts and throwing them on my CR over and over again. Just when you think you won this is so dissapointing and frustrating. Does anyone have any suggestions. I reside in MO and the statue of limitations is not up their 4-5 years old.

thank you thats not what i needed to hear but it is what it is. i did find out through Clark Howard number that I could write a letter to all 3 CRA's letting them know the situation and they must see that they have been removed over and over through the years. Only let them know that you are cc'ing the FTC (who regulates the CRA's) Clark Howard said that usually stops them in their tracks from them putting information they aready investigated and found to be incorrect back on your report. Ill try it when i get my letter of investigation back from the credit bureaus. its only been 5 business days since i sent it. thanks bunches

TR: 602

EQ: 647

EX: ?
