They said it was regarding an "old" acct. I asked when and he agent kept saying "kinda old". I have learned my SOL years on myfico so I pressed him until he sheepishly said 1988!! GOTCHA, that's what I wanted to hear! I told him I had no knowledge of that acct, however it was clearly past the SOL to collect. He said that it could be setlled for 50% ($100 bill plus 22 yrs of interest to total $500). I told him no thanks, and please don't bother me about that bill again. He goes are you refusing to pay? Yep, I have no knowledge of that bill.
