Go to each CRA's website and look for the credit freeze link. Normally it's free to free reports and may cost to unfreeze reports. Make sure you keep up with your PIN that you create or are issued.

You can unfreeze them at any time with your PIN. The unfreeze process is completed immediately. If you lose your PIN, Experian may charge you for a new one. You may have to pay to unfreeze reports with one or two of the CRA's depending on what state you reside.

Does the freeze not allow you to pull your own credit report too? or is only applicable to hard inquries?
