I was greeted by this message this morning on CCT. Time for me to find a new CMS.

There's only one daily 3-in-1 left that I know of: MPM via EID. I wonder if the CCT resale via USAA or Merrill Lynch would change.

Wow. Well, CCT was too pricey, at any rate. Hope MPM through EIDT keeps working for a long time. They are not nearly as easy to manage online as CCT, but they do work and the price is right.

I called CCT today to cancel both my and my husband's membership because I got that message too whan I logged in this morning.

I was told, and he went off and checked and confirmed it, that the message was sent in error to all members. Unlimited members will still be able to pull a new report every day, it's the limited members that it applies to. He said te phones are going crazy with people calling to cancel! :-)

So I'll keep a hold of CCT for a little while longer. I keep wondering if I should cancel (it's $65 a month because DH and I both have it), and I don't usually pull a new report every day now since we're gardening and not rebuilding. But I'll keep it until we get that house, hopefully by the end of the year if I can get DH motivated.

They changed my screen today to say "May 26" vs. "May 25"...

mpm is My Privacy Matters

You can get it through Eliminate ID Theft (listed as Eliminate ID Theft on llecs' Credit Monitoring Service Guide )

If you're used to CCT, mpm may drive you batty - it's not as user friendly and you have to jump through hoops each time you log in. But it works. Mostly. (It has its occasional glitches).

Specifically, click on the EliminateIDTheft link. There's a MPM link right above this one in the CMS Guide, and while it is the same company with a similar name (MyPrivacyMatters), it is a different product.

Mine now says "May 28th" and I have pulled new reports 4 times since getting the first May 25th message (on the 25th, 26th, 27th and today) saying there could only be 3 pulls a month. Maybe the customer service rep was right - I really thought he was feeding me a pack of lies...

Well, it did it's predictable update to "1 June" this evening.

There are a couple of things that should be mentioned though. I just tried my daily report update for DW today and everything went as planned, but when I got to the purchase page, I noticed they updated their Terms and Conditions as of today. It's generic to most of their products and I didn't see anything that indicated only 3x/mo pulls. After I got the notice that the pruchase was complete, I clicked on the link to pull up the reports and got this message:

We are currently unable to process your request. If you need further assistance, please email us at help@creditchecktotal.com. Thank you - we appreciate your business!

I can't see DW's reports. I then clicked into the Credit Center page and the FAKO PLUS graph did have a last date of today, so I assume they softed the reports. I then tried it for my reports and no go. Got the same message.

I got the same error message this morning. I cant even view reports from last week that were accessible a few days ago, which is really frustrating. I'm getting annoyed with the constant changing of dates and now not being able to even access my old reports. I'm going to give CCT until Friday to get this fixed, if not I'll be cancelling.
