Has anyone seen any awesome CD rates? I have a little bit of surprise cash that I want to tuck away, out of sight, and let it earn some interest. So far, the best rate I can find is APY 2.52, $500, for 5 yrs.

CD rates are going to continue to be junk while the Federal Reserve is giving away money to banks at nearly 0% rates.

Given the currently available free money from the Fed, 2.52% is actually a good return (sadly).

Yeah, that is the best rate I have been able to find so far for anything!
