Soft Pulls

Where can we see our soft pulls? I see people talking about them on this board but I don't see them on either my TU or EQ reports I get on here.

If you order your credit report directly from any of the 3 CRAs you will see both your Hard pulls and soft pulls.

Ditto to that. You can get free, annual reports at annualcreditreport.com or you can buy them directly from each CRA.

EX - 3/11 pulled by lender- 835, EQ - 2/11-816, TU - 2/11-782

Sorry completely new to this. What are hard and soft pulls? I assume it's places pulling your credit, but what exactly is it?

There are two types of inquiries: hard and soft. Hard inquiries are the ones your creditors-to-be pull when they want to view your CR after applying with them. So whenever you apply for a CC, loan, mortgage, car, etc., you have a hard inquiry from that creditor.

Soft inquiries are inquiries pulled by creditors when they want to sniff around on your credit report to see if they want to offer you credit, or pulled by current creditors to see if your CR contains any changes which might or might not impact their relationship with you. The most common of soft inquiries are promotional inquiries and Account reviews (ARs). ETA...per FICO scoring, FICO ignores all soft inquiries and scores hard inquiries for only a year.
