AAoA - When are you effectively "aged out"

At what age are you effectively aged out? When does additional aging no longer have an effect? Or, maybe, better to say, what age can you drop down to and not get dinged?

10 yrs?

20 yrs?

Anybody know?

I've read a post here saying once your AOAA hits around 12 years ceases to be affected by it.

Interesting. What about your oldest account? (age of your credit history) When does that phase out?

My AAOA is 12 years and IMHO it would be difficult to confirm by trial and error that you mxed out your AAoA FICO points. LOL I haven't applied for credit in over 2 years so i'll pass on the experiment.

Since it's only 10% of your FICO score profile even maxed out AAoA wouldn't be a huge point garner but enough to keep a close eye on it.
